Minnesota BOA Three-Year Certificate Renewal & CPE Reporting Cycle

Understanding the Minnesota Board of Accountancy's (BOA) certificate renewal and CPE reporting cycle is critical for CPAs certified in Minnesota. Whether active or inactive, you will renew your certificate through the Minnesota BOA for three years based on the first letter of your last name. Last names are grouped by the letters A-H, I-P and Q-Z. In addition, active CPAs report their CPE annually in accordance with this cycle.
