Whether you're looking for that next promotion or simply what to be ready for whatever the future might bring, make the Career Workshops a part of your plan. Each session is led by experts in the accounting recruitment or Human Resources field, guaranteeing that course content will be relevant to you.
Session details:
- Career Workshops are free for MNCPA members. Pre-registration is required.
- Sessions are scheduled from 7:30 - 9 a.m.
- Continental breakfast is provided.
- CPE credit is not available for Career Workshop sessions.

High-stress non-verbal situations such as interviews, important meetings and presentations can make it difficult to realize your ideas and effectively convey them. Understanding how to effectively communicate non-verbally fosters self-awareness and empowers you to consistently deliver an impactful and authentic message in every situation with every audience.
Teresa Lyons-Hegdahl, Assistant Professor of Theater at St. Catherine's and Executive Communication Coach, explores how to effectively use your body and voice to achieve style flexibility. She'll
break down a message and focus on how non-verbal cues such as intonation, articulation, rate of speech, breath, eye contact and more can be improved to strengthen your message. Not only will this seminar give you the tools for enhancing your communication, it will enable you to provide action-oriented feedback to your team and others.
