Tax Director
This individual will oversee the day-to-day activities involving tax compliance and tax provision matters, as well as tax research related to these activities. In addition to traditional corporate income taxes and not-for-profit matters (including unrelated business income), the individual will also be involved in the compliance process for premium tax, personal property tax, sales and use tax, compensation-related tax issues and payroll and product tax deposits, usually limited to the oversight of existing tax processes and the identification of potential improvements therein. Accounting Manager
Entegris is a manufacturing company located in Chaska, MN.

The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, such as fixed assets, general ledger, account reconciliations, and accounts payable, in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures for the Entegris, Inc.'s domestic legal entity.

1. Month End Close
Manages closing activites for Entegris' domestic legal entity. Communicates time-lines and required information from corporate accounting. Ensures the accurate compliation, analysis and reporting of balance sheet and income statement information. Collects and reviews account reconciliations.

2. Supervision
Selects, develops and coaches employees to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Provides recognition to employees. Addresses issues with employees with supportive documentation. Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and applicable budget requirements. Conducts timely employee performance reviews.

3. Accounting Policies
Prepares and updates corporate accounting policies and ensures properly documented procedures for general ledger, account reconciliations and accounts payable. Creates standard policies and procedures to comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

4. Process Improvement
Responsible for identifying and implementing process imrpovements associated with the month-end close, general ledger and accounts payable processes. Supports implementation of related financial statement enhancements.

5. General Ledger
Reviews and approves journal entries prepared by the accounting group. Reviews and ensures the accuracy and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley of all reports (e.g., accounting schedules, bank reconciliations) generated by the department. Researches and responds to accounting inquiries.

6. Quarterly and Year End Audits
Assists in coordinating and reviewing quarterly and annual schedules and analysis prepared for internal and external auditors.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting; eight years technical accounting experience including minimum five years supervisory experience, CPA preferred.

Cheerful Givers is a unique nonprofit organization that provides toy-filled birthday gift bags to food shelves and shelters so that parents in Minnesota who are living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift.

Be a coach/mentor to an enrolled participant of Faith in the City's Family Savings Account Program. The Family Savings Account Program combines financial literacy education with a $4 to $1 matched savings account for low-income earners. Participant's savings and match money can be used for first-time homeownership, post-secondary education, business start-up or expansion. As participants complete their financial literacy training and create their plan of action you can be their sounding board and provide support as they work toward achieving financial self-sufficiency. Volunteer Financial Literacy Class Instructor
Description: Teach 1 of 6 financial classes to participants of the Family Savings Accounts (a 4:1 matched savings account geared toward acquiring an asset). The core curriculum of this series is: asset-building; self-assessment of values around money and skill-building to deal with internal and social pressures. Each two-hour class covers a different topic. Some topics include: budgeting, credit building, investments, and consumer protection. As an instructor, you may opt to teach one or several classes. Training is provided for this service opportunity as well as ongoing volunteer networking and support activities. A background check is required. Skills: Appreciation of diversity.
