Public Service Award: Nomination Process

The MNCPA created the Public Service Award to recognize members who have distinguished themselves in public service activities at the local or state level. 

Nomination details

To nominate a CPA, complete and submit the nomination form by June 15, 2018.

All nominations will be reviewed by the MNCPA Awards Task Force, that in turn recommends a winner to the board of directors. All award winners are recognized at the Celebrate CPAs Awards Luncheon. 

Candidate qualifications:

  • MNCPA member in good standing
  • CPA certificate holder
  • Be in good standing within the profession

MNCPA will consider candidates who have:

  • Made a significant difference in one or many community, charitable or other civic activities
  • Taken responsibility for a recent community, civic or charitable project that had a significant positive impact
  • Served in a notable volunteer capacity in government at a local, state or national level

Please note that service related to professional associations will not be considered.

Nominations may be submitted by:

  • Individual MNCPA members – you may nominate yourself or another member
  • CPA firms
  • Companies
