Working with the Minnesota Board of Accountancy, the MNCPA won legislative approval that addresses practice mobility, students sitting earlier for the exam, and transitioning to a three-year certificate renewal cycle.

About MNCPA government relations

The government relations program at the MNCPA advocates on behalf of our members and the profession. The members involved with the government relations team work to build consensus on issues and then communicate a unified position to a number of different, yet very important, decision makers. We educate our professionals, as well as our state and federal elected officials, about the issues important to the profession and we do this in a number of proactive ways.
