Happy Hour on the Hill
Learning about how Minnesota government works and what role a CPA
can play in it is important, but it's not all you'll gain from
joining the YPG at the capitol.
This is your opportunity to meet and establish relationships with
a few of your local legislators so when the time comes, you know who
to talk to about an issue important to you and the profession. It's
just one more example of the power of networking.
The tour of the Capitol will last approximately an hour and will
cover 4 basic areas:
- The architecture of the Capitol
- The artwork within the Capitol
- Minnesota history
- Minnesota government
Once we've completed the tour, it's on to dinner and dynamic
discussions at the Downtowner.
