What are live webcasts?
Just like live seminars, live webcasts last for
scheduled periods of time and are led by live instructors. You can
ask questions and get real feedback. But unlike live seminars, live
webcasts are broadcast through a web page that you access with a
computer in the comfort of your own home or office. They include
live video and audio of the speakers, slides, and handout materials.
What is a webcast replay?
A replay is a repeated showing of a previous
webcast with an instructor standing by live to answer your
questions. These programs qualify as a group live seminar.
How can I interact with webcast
instructors?
You can phone, fax or e-mail your questions to
instructors at any time throughout a webcast. The instructors will
respond to your questions live during the broadcast.
I like the written materials
that accompany seminars. What do live webcasts have to offer?
Live webcasts also provide written materials. After
submitting your registration for a live webcast, you automatically
receive online access to its written materials. Or if you prefer,
you may request that your materials be sent to you in book form. The
choice is yours.
Do I need to view a webcast at its
scheduled time?
To receive CPE credits, you need to view the webcast
during its scheduled time. Random codes are displayed throughout the
webcast that you must later submit to receive your certificate of
completion. While you may view a recorded version of the webcast for
a period of time following the original broadcast, the random codes
are not displayed and no CPE is available.
Do I have to take a test to verify
my participation in a live webcast?
No. Because these webcasts are live group study
events and not online self-study programs, there are no tests
following the broadcasts. Instead, you need to record a simple code
that is randomly displayed in four parts throughout the webcast.
How do I receive a CPE
certificate of completion?
To receive your certificate of completion, you
simply submit the four-part code that is randomly displayed
throughout the webcast. If you submit less than all four parts of
the code, you receive partial CPE credit. Your certificate of
completion is then sent to you via e-mail.
How do I register for a live
webcast?
You must
register online for live webcasts and pay by credit card.
Because the webcasts are administered by CPAlearn, you will need to
establish a separate account with them before registering for your
first live webcast. Please do not mail or fax your registrations to
the MNCPA.
What if I need to
cancel my registration?
If you need to cancel your registration, please
contact Legalspan / Manexa at 1-877-880-1335. To receive a full
refund, you must cancel four business days prior to the webcast.
Is the program sponsor
registered with the NASBA National Registry of CPE sponsors? If so,
what is its registry ID number?
Yes, the live webcast program sponsor, Business
Professionals' Network, is registered with the NASBA National
Registry of CPE Sponsors as a group Internet-based sponsor. Its
registry ID number is 107810.
I still have questions. Who can
I contact for more information?

toll free.
