About the 2010 Management of an Accounting Practice Survey
The MNCPA participates in a national Management of an Accounting Practice (MAP) Survey conducted jointly by the AICPA and the Texas Society of CPAs. An analysis is prepared using only MN data allowing firms a better comparison to their own accounting practices.
Managing partners should use this information to evaluate their firm's competitive position in providing services to customers and in recruiting and retaining employees. Results are grouped by small (<$500K in revenues), medium ($500K-$1.5M in revenue) and large firms ($1.5M+ in revenues) making it easier to compare your firm to a similar sized firm.
If you are a job seeker or a new accounting graduate, review the salary and employee benefits sections to evaluate or negotiate job offers.
