Young Professionals Group FAQ
How do I join?
Membership in the Young Professionals Group is free, and it could not be easier to join. All eligible members of MNCPA are automatically a part of the Young Professionals Group. That's it! No registrations or applications are required!
As a member you'll be invited to all of the Section's events and gain access to a host of leadership and involvement opportunities. Plus, you will receive our monthly eNews for young professionals.
Young Professionals Group eligibility requirements:
Current MNCPA members who have been certified for ten years or less, or
Current financial professionals preparing to take the CPA exam
There is not an age limit.
How does the Young Professionals Group work?
The driving force in the Young Professionals Group is member participation. The most common outlet for participation is the Section's variety of events.
Other ways to get involved include The Young Professionals Group's Captain Program. Captains serve as a contact between their firm/company and the Young Professionals Group. Members of the program compete to win fabulous prizes.
The Young Professionals Group is led by a committee of five members who guide the group's events and strategies. Committee members traditionally have some previous experience with the Young Professionals Group.
