Bryan Ekern, CPA passed away April 12, 2023. He was 46. An MNCPA member of nearly 20 years, Bryan served on the MNCPA Employee Benefit Plans Review Task Force. He most recently worked as an auditor for Eide Bailly LLP.

Gov. Tim Walz appointed two MNCPA members to the Minnesota Board of Accountancy:

• Charles Selcer, CPA, a shareholder at Schechter Dokken Kanter CPAs, is in his third term. He serves as chair.
• Todd Lifson, CPA, a partner at EisnerAmper, is in his first term.
