Anne Brader joins Minnesota Society of CPAs board of directors

The Maple Plain CPA starts a three-year term

MINNEAPOLIS (April 21, 2023) — The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) welcomed its new officers and directors at its April 20 board of directors meeting, including Anne Brader, CPA.

The Maple Plain CPA is the CFO of Thrifty White Pharmacy and will serve a three-year term on the board. Before joining the board, Brader served on several committees, including the Business & Industry Advisory Council, while also maintaining an emphasis on mentorship through her participation in Talk to the Students and the Student Mentor Directory.

As a CPA of more than 12 years, Brader said she’s seen the benefits a CPA license provides and has been impressed with how the MNCPA maximizes those benefits for members.

“I want to see the CPA designation remain a strong indication of an ethical and competent accountant,” she said. “I also want to help others find success on the accounting career path.”

The MNCPA serves the public interest by advancing the highest standards of ethics and practices within the CPA profession. The MNCPA delivers on that promise by offering extensive continuing professional education and resources; advocating for members and the public with regulatory agencies and boards; and mentoring and encouraging the CPAs and business leaders of tomorrow. Founded in 1904, the MNCPA has 7,500 members who work in public accounting, business and industry, government and education.
