Jerry Lee joins Minnesota Society of CPAs board of directors
The Wayzata CPA starts a three-year term
MINNEAPOLIS (May 3, 2022) — The
Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) welcomed its new officers and directors at its April 21 board of directors meeting, including Jerry Lee, CPA, MBA, CGMA.
The Wayzata CPA is the principal of Lee Financial Group and will serve a three-year term on the board. Before joining the board, Lee served on several committees in his time as a member, including the Business & Industry Advisory Council and Government Accounting & Auditing. Most recently, he’s served as part of the MNCPA media spokesperson program.
Lee, a CPA for more than 40 years, said he was excited to bring his experience to the board.
“I enjoy learning about the obstacles and opportunities facing our profession, and feel that based on my experience and background, I am able to provide a different perspective from others on the board,” he said.
The MNCPA serves the public interest by advancing the highest standards of ethics and practices within the CPA profession. The MNCPA delivers on that promise by offering extensive continuing professional education and resources; advocating for members and the public with regulatory agencies and boards; and mentoring and encouraging the CPAs and business leaders of tomorrow. Founded in 1904, the MNCPA has 8,000 members who work in public accounting, business and industry, government and education.
