Minnesota Society of CPAs announce 2023–24 board officers

MNCPA board of directors

 
MINNEAPOLIS (April 21, 2023) — The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) welcomed its new officers and directors at its April 20 board of directors meeting, including Bob Cedergren, CPA as the organization’s 2023–24 board chair.   

Cedergren is a partner at Wipfli LLP and has extensive experience in both industry and public accounting. Prior to assuming leadership of the board, Cedergren served as the board’s vice chair and treasurer. He’s also served as the chair of the MNCPA Board Finance Committee and as a member on both the MNCPA Legislative Issues Committee and the MNCPA PAC Board of Trustees.

“I am honored to serve as the MNCPA board chair for the next year and I am also thankful for those who served in this role before me, including Charles Esler for his leadership this past year, and two past board chairs from my firm, Dean Ager and Danielle Buchberger,” Cedergren said. “I look forward to serving you, the members of the MNCPA.”
 
These MNCPA board officers also assumed leadership at the board meeting:
  • Vice chair: Stephanie Markert, CPA, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP.
  • Treasurer: Matt Svendsen, CPA, MBT, Pohlad Companies.
  • Secretary: Kara Hanson, CPA, St. Croix Hospice.
  • Chair-elect: Boz Bostrom, CPA, MBT, College of St. Benedict & St. John’s University.
In addition, the MNCPA board welcomed its newest directors:
  • Anne Brader, CPA, Thrifty White Pharmacy.
  • Craig Chilcote, CPA, Anderson, Kuiti & Asuma, PLLC.
  • Trevor Long, CPA, RSM US LLP.
The MNCPA serves the public interest by advancing the highest standards of ethics and practices within the CPA profession.
