Dave Brauer headshotDavid Brauer, CPA, MAcc, MBT

Company: EisnerAmper
Position: Partner
Years of MNCPA membership: 29 years
Why I want to continue serving on the MNCPA board of directors:
I am passionate about helping CPAs chart their careers. After 29 years of experience with local and Big Four firms, as well as teaching undergraduate and graduate students, I believe my perspective would continue to be a positive addition to the board of directors.

Incumbent – Three-year term

Erik O'Link headshotEric O’Link, CPA, MBA

Company: Anderson Dahlen Inc.
Position: Controller
Years of MNCPA membership: 14 years
Why I want to serve on the MNCPA board of directors:
Becoming a CPA changed my life for the better, so I care deeply about the accounting profession. Over the last three years on the board, I have come to appreciate the many ways in which the MNCPA advocates for and advances our
profession, from advocating for CPAs with the Legislature and Board of Accountancy to working creatively on how to help solve the CPA pipeline issue. Serving on the MNCPA board has been a privilege. I look forward to bringing a business and industry perspective to the board for another term.

New – Three-year term

Ben Schlauderaff headshotBenjamin (Ben) Schlauderaff, CPA

Company: RSM US LLP
Position: Partner
Years of MNCPA membership: 7 years
Why I want to serve on the MNCPA board of directors:
I want to advocate for current CPAs and future CPAs and feel this is a great opportunity to do so, while also providing my perspective on the profession. I also like to hear the perspective of others and educate my colleagues on current trends. While there are many things currently impacting our profession, one topic I’m particularly passionate about is the decline in the number of accountants and CPAs. I want to be part of the change to get more students into accounting programs and into the profession as CPAs.

New – Three-year term

Why I want to serve on the MNCPA board of directors:
I’m dedicated to helping the board promote the accounting profession and inspiring the next generation of CPAs. I believe we can foster an environment that encourages young accountants to embrace the profession with enthusiasm and dedication. This includes embracing diversity and encouraging members to share their expertise and opinions, so we can collectively work together to continue to make the accounting profession a successful and meaningful one.

Why I want to continue serving on the MNCPA board of directors:
It would be a great honor to serve the current profession as a board member. I enjoy working with others as a team and brainstorming solutions. In the past 20 years, I have met incredible people whom I am proud to call colleagues and friends. I want to continue to expand my existing network by serving on the MNCPA board. I feel my experience in both public practice and industry gives me valuable insight into the technical knowledge needed to be a professional CPA and I believe that is a valuable asset to the MNCPA board.
