The person hired for this position must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and have the ability to work well with outside auditors, tax professionals and other departments within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of financial reports as well as controls and/or procedures to assure compliance with National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), State and Federal requirements. In addition, this individual will be involved with the daily functions of the Accounting Department and develop a thorough understanding of Statutory Accounting Principles.
