Requirements/criteria: Internships run from January-May and August-December. Accounting major, generally in their junior or senior year, must receive credit for internship, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be able to work four to six months.

Additional information: Internship is with the Financial Audit Division. Time worked as an intern counts as qualifying experience for licensure as a Certified Public Accountant. The Financial Audit Division audits the primary functions of state government. The internship offers an opportunity to develop financial and information system auditing skills.
