Eric Nicholson

Eric Nicholson is a managing director at Northborne Partners. He has nearly three decades of experience as an M&A adviser to private and public companies, private equity investors and entrepreneurs. Prior to joining Northborne, Eric was a senior investment banker at Piper Jaffray and a partner at Greene Holcomb & Fisher (GHF), a national investment banking boutique with offices in Minneapolis, Seattle, Atlanta and Phoenix. After BMO acquired GHF, Eric became head of BMO Middle Market M&A. Eric received a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BA from Carleton College, and started his career as a corporate attorney at Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis. He has served on the adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota Law School, the board of directors of the Wilder Foundation and as a discussion leader for the Anderson Center for Management and Leadership Development.
