Steven Anseth, CPA, is a partner at the accounting firm Abdo, Eick, and Meyers, LLP. He leads the firm’s not-for-profit practice of 12 staff that work with over 200 nonprofit organizations. In addition to performing financial statement audits and Form 990 preparation, the firm’s nonprofit practice also provides board trainings, single audits, unrelated business income tax consulting, HR assistance, outsourced accounting services, operations efficiency consulting and much more. Prior to working in public accounting, he worked for a large international nonprofit organization. His experience working in a nonprofit organization gives him a unique perspective when working with clients. Steve is passionate about helping nonprofit organizations continue to grow and get stronger every year. He’s also a frequent speaker at Minnesota Council of Nonprofit finance conferences and other nonprofit related events. He has served on multiple nonprofit boards.
