Susan Smith, who manages her own firm specializing in tax planning for individuals and business owners, is a highly regarded tax instructor and frequent conference speaker. She previously served as a senior manager in the tax departments of Price Waterhouse and Peat Marwick (now KPMG) and was an associate adjunct professor in the master’s taxation program at Widener University. A four-time recipient of the James L. McCoy Discussion Leader of the Year Award and a three-time Surgent Outstanding Discussion Leader Award honoree, she is known for her ability to make complex tax topics clear and engaging.
