Charles A. Borek, CPA, JD, MBA, is currently the CEO and chief counsel at The Borek Group, LLC, a Maryland-based professional education and consulting firm. He develops and conducts dozens of continuing education courses each year for CPAs and attorneys across the nation, frequently presenting on topics associated with law, accounting and taxation. He also continues to practice tax and business law and regularly appears before the IRS and in U.S. Tax Court. In 2011, Borek was named an AICPA Discussion Leader of the Year.
