Stephanie Markert, CPA

Stephanie Markert, CPA, is a principal in the national assurance technical group in CLA’s Minneapolis office. She provides technical reviews of financial statements, as well as consultation and research services to engagement teams within CLA. With her role as a principal at CLA, Stephanie has had the opportunity to become industry focused (manufacturing and distribution) as well as lead various learning programs, including Topic 606 - Revenue Recognition and Topic 842 - Leases. She is also a leader in global assurance services promoting growth and quality to CLA’s international clients. Stephanie serves as a board member to the MNCPA and she was recently appointed as the chair of the audit committee of Nexia International, an association of international member firms of which CLA is an independent member. Stephanie has 20 years of experience in public accounting serving public and small private companies, including a five-year term serving public clients in Munich, Germany.
