Masha Yevzelman is a shareholder at Fredrikson & Byron P.A., and is the chair of the firm’s Tax Disputes & Litigation department. Masha represents public and private companies, trusts, estates and high-net-worth individuals in complex tax disputes. She has handled all stages of tax controversies – voluntary disclosures, audits, administrative appeals, tax court, district court and appellate litigation. Masha’s experience includes resolving and litigating numerous types of tax disputes, including state corporate and individual income tax, sales and use tax, federal and international disputes, and real and personal property tax appeals. Masha frequently presents on state and local tax issues, including for the Minnesota CPA Society, Council on State Taxation, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, and the American Bar Association. Masha was recently honored by Minnesota Lawyer with an “Attorney of the Year” award and by the Minnesota State Bar Association with the Jack Carlson Memorial Distinguished Service Award.
