Audits of Employee Benefit Plans Conference Task Force

Task force consists of 5-7 MNCPA members who assist with the development of the conference agenda by identifying and selecting relevant topics and qualified speakers. Perks include building relationships with other MNCPA members who have a similar professional interest and receiving a complimentary conference registration. 
Qualifications: 3+ years' experience performing, reviewing or supervising employee benefit plan audits
Requirements: Participation in one meeting and performance of various conference duties, such as introduction of one or more speakers

Time commitment: 10 hours annually (includes conference attendance)

Audits of Local Government Conference Task Force

Task force consists of 7-10 MNCPA members who assist with the development of the conference agenda by identifying and selecting relevant topics and qualified speakers. Perks include building relationships with other MNCPA members who have a similar professional interest and receiving a complimentary conference registration. 
Qualifications: 3+ years' experience performing, reviewing or supervising local government audits
Requirements: Participation in one meeting and performance of various conference duties, such as introduction of one or more speakers

Time commitment: 10 hours annually (includes conference attendance)

Business & Industry Advisory Council

Corporate CPAs have the opportunity to influence the MNCPA’s focus on business and industry initiatives through this advisory council. Share your thoughts surrounding current issues impacting the CPA community. This will also serve as a platform for evaluating MNCPA offerings such as publications, topics of interest and other member benefits.
Qualifications: CPA working in business and industry capacity; 2+ years of MNCPA membership
Requirements: Participation in 3-4 meetings annually

Time commitment: 5-9 hours annually

Business Valuation Conference Task Force

Task force consists of 5-7 MNCPA members who assist with the development of the conference agenda by identifying and selecting relevant topics and qualified speakers. Perks include building relationships with other MNCPA members who have a similar professional interest and receiving a complimentary conference registration
Qualifications: 5+ years' experience performing business valuations and/or providing related services
Requirements: Participation in one meeting and performance of various conference duties, such as introduction of one or more speakers

Time commitment: 10 hours annually (includes conference attendance)

Controller Networking Group

Join fellow MNCPA members serving in controller roles for this networking opportunity. This group is ideal for controllers looking to grow their circle of peers and learn from the experiences and knowledge of others. Group dynamics and discussion topics are determined by the group, providing a loose format to meet needs of members. Participation is at the discretion of the individual.
Qualifications: MNCPA members working in controller or related capacity

Time commitment: 5-9 hours annually

Not-for-Profit Conference Task Force

Task force consists of 7-10 MNCPA members who assist with the development of the conference agenda by identifying and selecting relevant topics and qualified speakers. Perks include building relationships with other MNCPA members who have a similar professional interest and receiving a complimentary conference registration.
Qualifications: 3+ years' nonprofit industry experience (i.e. finance director, financial manager) or 5+ years' experience providing advisory services to the nonprofit industry 
Requirements: Participation in one meeting and performance of various conference duties, such as introduction of one or more speakers

Time commitment: 10 hours annually (includes conference attendance)

School District Audits Conference Task Force

Task force consists of 7-10 MNCPA members who assist with the development of the conference agenda by identifying and selecting relevant topics and qualified speakers. Small Firm Round Tables

Join fellow MNCPA members in small firms for this networking opportunity. This group is ideal for sole proprietors and small firms looking to grow their circle of peers and learn from the experiences and knowledge of others. Group dynamics and discussion topics are determined by the group, providing a loose format to meet needs of members. Participation is at the discretion of the individual.
Qualifications: MNCPA members working in a small firm (1 – 10 CPAs) or sole proprietor

Time commitment: 5-9 hours
