IN-PERSON LOCATION

The in-person portion of the conference takes place at Mystic Lake Center on day one of the conference only (Monday, June 13). If you’re registered for the hybrid event, please arrive at Mystic Lake Center by 7:30 a.m. on June 13 to check in and make your way to the first session.

Parking
Park in the free lot located north of Mystic Lake Center.

  • From Mystic Lake Drive NW, go west on Dakotah Parkway.
  • At the roundabout, take the third exit to go south on Mystic Center Drive.
  • Turn into the Mystic Lake Center event parking lot.
  • Enter the building at the north entrance.

Note: Mystic Lake Center is located north of Mystic Lake Casino/Hotel. For easier access to the conference, park at Mystic Lake Center, not at the casino/hotel.

Check-in
When you arrive, check in at the registration desk outside of the Waconia meeting room.
 
Hotel
Stay at the Mystic Lake Center hotel before the conference to avoid the morning commute! Reserve a room online or call 952-445-9000. Availability is limited.
 
Narcotics, firearms and outside alcohol policy
Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is a narcotics and firearm free facility. Narcotics and firearms are strictly prohibited. No outside alcohol is permitted. Guest bags and coolers are subject to search upon entry to hotel. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Download the conference app before you arrive

Your session attendance will be tracked via the conference app. Please follow the instructions below to download the app to your mobile device before you arrive on Monday. You must be registered for the conference to access the event.

  • Download the Eventsential app to your mobile device.
  • Search for “Minnesota Society of CPAs.”
  • Select the appropriate event.
  • Enter the email address you used to register.
  • Select “Send Link.”
  • Using your mobile device, click the link sent to you via email.
    • You must have access to the email you used to register on the mobile device you plan to use throughout the event.
    • This email comes from noreply@rdmobile.com.
    • The link expires after 15 minutes.

 
You will use the Eventsential app QR reader to check into each session room at the conference.

Please make sure you download the app before the event and bring your charged mobile device with you to the conference. There are charging stations available at Mystic Lake Center.

ACCESSING LIVESTREAMED AND VIRTUAL SESSIONS

You may participate in MBAC22 via your computer or via mobile device. You must be registered for the conference to access the event.

To access via your computer:
Recommended browser: latest version of Chrome.

  • Click this link or copy and paste it into your browser: https://events.rdmobile.com/Events/Enter/15288  
  • Enter your email address and click “Log In.”
  • Check your inbox for an email with a second login link. Click the “Log In Now” button.
  • Click “Enter Event.”
    • Tip: Keep this event platform page open throughout the conference so you can easily navigate to your sessions.

To access via your mobile device:

  • Download the Eventsential app to your mobile device.
  • Search for “Minnesota Society of CPAs.”
  • Select the appropriate event.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Select “Send Link.”
  • Using your mobile device, click the link sent to you via email.
    • You must have access to the email you used to register on the mobile device you plan to use throughout the event.
    • This email comes from noreply@rdmobile.com.
    • The link expires after 15 minutes.

To join sessions:

  • Click the “Schedule” menu option within the event platform.
  • Click the title of the session you’d like to join.
  • Click the “Join Session” button. (On desktop, this opens another browser tab.)
  • Enter required information to access session.
  • At the end of each session, return to the schedule to select and join the next session.
 

Important note about your schedule:

The app will display the full conference schedule. It is not personalized with the sessions you selected when you registered. If you need a reminder of which sessions you’ve chosen, please log into your MNCPA account to view your schedule.

CONFERENCE MATERIALS

How to access the session materials from the MNCPA website:
Most sessions have materials available for download. You can access most PDFs via the MNCPA website three business days before the event until two weeks after. Your registration fee must be paid in full to access the materials on the MNCPA website.

  • Go to the My CPE Materials page and log in with your username and password.
  • Under the Management and Business Advisers Conference event, click the link to the session materials you want to access.

Some users are experiencing issues accessing materials on the MNCPA website, especially with Firefox. Alternately, please use the instructions below to access materials within the conference platform. We apologize for the inconvenience.
 
How to access the conference materials in the event platform:

  • Go to the “Materials” option in the platform’s navigation menu.
  • Or, select a session from the schedule and scroll down to the “Resources” area to find materials for that session.
  • Or, access materials during each session’s presentation.
