Stacy Bedell joins Minnesota Society of CPAs board of directors

The Wayzata CPA starts a three-year term

MINNEAPOLIS (April 24, 2025) — The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) welcomed its new officers and directors at its April 24 board of directors meeting, including Stacy Bedell, CPA.

The Wayzata CPA is a principal accountant at Boston Scientific Corporation and will serve a three-year term on the board. As part of the board, Bedell is looking forward to participating in pipeline initiatives and encouraging current CPAs to continue growing in their knowledge and connecting with others in the profession. An MNCPA member of more than 15 years, Bedell said she is passionate about finding ways to remove barriers for those who want to join the profession.

“I remain concerned about the future of the CPA pipeline and I am eager to inspire others to join this critical profession,” Bedell said. “The path to becoming a CPA can be more accessible while maintaining the high standards of excellence, integrity and professionalism required.”

The MNCPA serves the public interest by advancing the highest standards of ethics and practices within the CPA profession. The MNCPA delivers on that promise by offering extensive continuing professional education and resources; advocating for members and the public with regulatory agencies and boards; and mentoring and encouraging the CPAs and business leaders of tomorrow. Founded in 1904, the MNCPA has 7,500 members who work in public accounting, business and industry, government and education.
