MNCPA hosts hybrid Management & Business Advisers Conference June 11-13
MINNEAPOLIS (June 4, 2024) — The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) presents the Management & Business Advisers Conference (MBAC), a three-day hybrid event held June 11-13.
MBAC provides CFOs, financial leaders, internal auditors and business advisers the educational experience they need to enhance their leadership and decision-making skills. The conference offers a hybrid experience that allows registrants to choose how they attend: hybrid (two days virtual, one in person), fully virtual (two days virtual, one day livestreamed) or single day (choose which day to attend).
While based in Minnesota, the conference is open to all to explore topics impacting the accounting and business worlds.
Blending information and inspiration, the conference presents sessions that showcase the complex skillsets needed to be successful in today’s world. The fusion of accounting, technology, leadership, HR, along with strategy and business insights provide an experience with lasting impact that will recharge your career and fuel future success.
Artificial intelligence is a key topic for 2024, along with other types of emerging technologies; staffing and HR in the modern age; ethics considerations for individuals and organizations; and more.
Top speakers include:
- Ace Callwood, who draws on his tech and consulting background to present a keynote on thought leadership and generating effective solutions to complicated problems in your organization.
- Larry Morgan, who will break down what’s new in the world of HR. There have been several significant legal and regulatory changes in 2024 including overtime pay, noncompetes and more!
- Jasna Burza, who will explore how leaders can avoid burnout and feelings of overwhelm with practical steps to keep you successful, inspired and refreshed long after the session.
- Jeff Butler, who will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence and show how to view this technological disruption as an opportunity, rather than an obstacle.
