Steve McDonald joins Minnesota Society of CPAs board of directors
The Minnetonka CPA starts a three-year term
MINNEAPOLIS (April 24, 2025) — The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) welcomed its new officers and directors at its April 24 board of directors meeting, including Steve McDonald, CPA.
The Minnetonka CPA is the managing partner at Abdo, LLP and will serve a three-year term on the board. As part of the board, McDonald is looking forward to participating in pipeline initiatives and connecting with others in a leadership capacity. An MNCPA member of more than 30 years, McDonald said he is passionate about showcasing the benefits of the profession and providing input to ensure CPAs remain current.
“This profession has been very good to me over my career,” McDonald said. “While I am confident in the future, there are challenges to maintaining its significance. I look forward to contributing input and listening to strategies to grow the profession.”
The MNCPA serves the public interest by advancing the highest standards of ethics and practices within the CPA profession. The MNCPA delivers on that promise by offering extensive continuing professional education and resources; advocating for members and the public with regulatory agencies and boards; and mentoring and encouraging the CPAs and business leaders of tomorrow.
