The Minneapolis CPA starts a three-year term

MINNEAPOLIS (April 24, 2025) — The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) welcomed its new officers and directors at its April 24 board of directors meeting, including Mara Proell, CPA.

The Minneapolis CPA is a director at Deloitte LLP and will serve a three-year term on the board. As part of the board, Proell is looking forward to giving back to the profession that gave her a fulfilling career. An MNCPA member of 15 years, Proell said she is passionate about the growth and development of future CPAs.

“Serving on the MNCPA board would provide me the opportunity to give back to the profession that has given me so much,” Proell said. “I look forward to networking and collaborating with other CPAs to further our collective goals.”

The MNCPA serves the public interest by advancing the highest standards of ethics and practices within the CPA profession. The MNCPA delivers on that promise by offering extensive continuing professional education and resources; advocating for members and the public with regulatory agencies and boards; and mentoring and encouraging the CPAs and business leaders of tomorrow.
