In memoriam
Grant Tentis, CPA passed away Dec. 4, 2025, at the age of 63. A partner at Smith Schafer and an MNCPA member for more than 30 years, he was described as someone who was respected not only for his technical expertise, but also his humor, kindness and compassion for clients and colleagues alike.
Charles “Bernie” Didier, CPA died on Feb. 20, 2026. He was 74. An MNCPA member since 1997, Didier was described by family as a, “CPA by day, musician by night,” balancing his passion for music with a career in accounting that spanned nearly 30 years with the W. Pitt Rolfe Accounting firm and time as accounting director for the IUOE Local 49.
