In memoriam
Peggy Benson, CPA passed away June 4, 2026, at the age of 68. A partner at Benson & Sweetland CPA and an MNCPA member for more than 30 years, she regularly shared her expertise with both clients and those in her community. Family and friends describe her as always ready to help others, even if that meant answering cold calls. As an enthusiastic volunteer, Peggy provided guidance through multiple MNCPA community outreach programs, including Taxline, Small Business Advisory Day and The Prosperity Exchange.
Volunteering
A big thank you to the members who volunteered with two of the MNCPA’s community outreach programs, providing free 40-minute consultations with small business owners, in partnership with the Hmong American Partnership and the Latino Economic Development Corporation.
