IN-PERSON LOCATION

The in-person portion of the conference takes place at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Monday, Nov. 13-Tuesday, Nov. 14. If you’re registered for the hybrid event or the TAX23 Young Professionals Track, please arrive at the Minneapolis Convention Center early enough to check in and make your way to the first session.

Parking is available in a variety of ramps and surface lots near and connected to the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Your session attendance will be tracked via the conference app. Please follow the instructions below to download the app to your mobile device before you arrive on Monday. You must be registered for the conference to access the event.

  • Download the Eventsential app to your mobile device.
    • Please ensure you have the most recent version.
  • Search for “Minnesota Society of CPAs.”
  • Select  the event (Tax Conference or TAX23 Young Professionals Track).
  • Enter the email address you used to register.
  • Select “Send Link.”
  • Using your mobile device, click the link sent to you via email.
    • You must have access to the email you used to register on the mobile device you plan to use throughout the event.
    • This email comes from noreply@rdmobile.com.
    • The link expires after 15 minutes.

 
You will use the Eventsential app QR reader to check into each session room at the conference.

Please make sure you download the app before the event and bring your charged mobile device with you to the conference.

ACCESSING LIVESTREAMED AND VIRTUAL SESSIONS

You may participate in TAX23 via your computer or via mobile device. You must be registered for the conference to access the event.

To access via your computer:
Recommended browser: latest version of Chrome.

  • A personalized access link will be sent via email starting Nov. 8. Click the access link. 
  • Click “Enter Event.”
    • Tip: Keep this event platform page open throughout the conference so you can easily navigate to your sessions.

  • Enter your email address and click “Log In.”
  • Check your inbox for an email with a second login link. Click the “Log In Now” button.
  • Click “Enter Event.”

To join sessions:

  • Click the “Schedule” menu option within the event platform.
  • Click the title of the session you’d like to join.
  • Click the “Join Session” button. (On desktop, this opens another browser tab.)
  • Enter required information to access session.
  • At the end of each session, return to the schedule to select and join the next session.
 

Important note about your schedule:

  • The app will display your personalized schedule.To make use of this feature you should make session selections before the conference begins. Select your sessions during the registration process or update your schedule anytime preceeding the conference by logging into your MNCPA account.

CONFERENCE MATERIALS

Important note: Materials are available electronically only. Printed materials will not be distributed at the event.

How to access the session materials from the MNCPA website:
Most sessions have materials available for download. You can access most PDFs via the MNCPA website three business days before the event until two weeks after. Your registration fee must be paid in full to access the materials on the MNCPA website.

  • Go to the My CPE Materials page and log in with your username and password.
  • Under the Tax Conference event, click the link to the session materials you want to access.

To access materials on the MNCPA website, we recommend using Chrome. Alternately, you may also use the instructions below to access materials within the conference platform.
 
How to access the conference materials in the event platform:

  • Go to the “Materials” option in the platform’s navigation menu.
  • Or, select a session from the schedule and scroll down to the “Resources” area to find materials for that session.
  • Or, access materials during each session’s presentation.
