Masha M. Yevzelman, JD, chairs Fredrikson’s tax disputes and litigation group. She represents public and private companies, trusts, estates and high-net-worth individuals in complex tax disputes. Masha handles all stages of tax controversies and has experience resolving and litigating numerous types of tax disputes, including state corporate income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, federal and international tax disputes, real and personal property taxes, state individual income tax (including audits relating to residency changes), and other state and local taxes. She is a frequent speaker for the Minnesota CPA society, the Council on State Taxation, the Institutes for Professionals in Taxation, the American Bar Association, and the Minnesota State Bar Association's Tax Institute. Masha was recently awarded the Friend of the Profession Award by MNCPA, the Jack Carlson Memorial Distinguished Service Award by the MSBA, "Attorney of the Year" by Minnesota Lawyer, was elected a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, and was recognized as a "Woman in Business Honoree" by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
