How self-study courses differ from other CPE programs

What is the difference between self-study, on-demand and webinars?

What are the different formats of self-study courses?

Self-study courses come in a variety of formats, including on-demand webinars, downloadable PDFs and textbook. On-demand webinars are pre-recorded videos of slides and/or instructors. The downloadable PDF and textbook format is text only. All self-study formats require a test to receive credit.

Obtaining CPE credit for self-study programs

How do I earn credit for a self-study course?

Within one year from purchase date, you must take the final exam and pass with a grade of 70% or better in order to receive CPE credit. If you do not pass the exam on the first try, you can re-take the exam as many times as needed until you pass.

How do I receive my CPE credits and proof of attendance for a self-study course?

Self-study CPE credits are issued by the sponsor. Each self-study sponsor has a different method for making earned credits available to attendees. Common methods include emailing a certificate of attendance of completion or enabling online access to the certificate.

What is the refund policy for self-study courses?

Refunds for self-study courses are available within 30 days of purchase date, provided that no CPE credit has been granted.
