Now with over 16 states offering access to adult use marijuana and over 35 states offering medical access, the industry is in need of competent accounting and tax advice. Business and intellectual property appraisal services are also in high demand but require specialized knowledge and a risk assessment before deciding to serve this unique industry sector.

This course highlights resources available from the AICPA and other state CPA societies on assessing the risks of doing work in this emerging industry. The course also focuses on what practitioners need to consider when working with state legal, regulated cannabis clients. Tips and advice will be provided on how to assess the business risks and impact on staff and other client relationships.

This event may be a rebroadcast of a live event and the instructor will be available to answer your questions during the event.
