Strategic Leadership Volunteer Opportunities

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is elected by the membership. They govern the organization and set the strategy for the Society's future.  There are six regular half-day board meetings during the year plus a two day board retreat. Reading and other preparation is required before each meeting.  Board members are expected to attend MNCPA functions, serve on board task forces, and meet with members.


Requirements: Board nomination deadline has passed!
We will open up nominations again in fall 2024.

Reasons to volunteer

Here are three important business reasons you and your firm should be volunteering:

  • Network. The most essential part of any business.
  • Show your stuff. Volunteering and community service show potential customers the integrity of your company and demonstrates the quality of your work.
  • Get attention. No better way to get positive PR exposure, and attracting new customers doesn’t hurt either.
