The songs of tax season

Each year, the MNCPA sends out the annual Tax Survey to members to get a sense of what topics are impacting both members and their clients.
The survey covered important topics hitting the profession like emerging technologies, legalization of adult-use cannabis, succession planning and more. But it wasn't only about business — we wanted to hear about some fun things, too.
We asked members what type of music gets them through busy season. Here's what they shared.

Several members named Prince as one of their favorite artists!
Honorable mentions
One member specifically called out "No Tears Left to Cry" by Ariana Grande, something we can understand listening to during busy season!
Another member mentioned seeking nature sounds to help them get through a heavy workload, including opening up their patio doors to let in bird song.
"Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen was the go-to song for one member whenever they completed a tax return.
