Kathleen E. (Splett) Pfutzenreuter, JD, tax attorney at Wagner Tax Law, represents businesses and individuals in complex tax disputes before the IRS, Minnesota Department of Revenue, and the Department of Employment and Economic Development. She advises on audits, administrative appeals, litigation and collection matters, including personal liability assessments, residency audits, trust fund recovery penalties, voluntary disclosure agreements and other challenging tax issues. A frequent presenter on tax controversy topics, she speaks on resolving tax debts, challenging penalties, and navigating federal and state tax litigation. Kathleen served as chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association Tax Section (2021–2022) and is a member of the association’s Legislative Committee.
