Why advertise?
MNCPA classified ads are:
- Visible. Our website ads receive over 2,000 hits per month.
- Targeted. Our member magazine The Footnote reaches over 9,000 CPAs, including business executives, educators and legislators.
- Affordable. Running a classified ad on our website or newsletter is significantly less expensive than running it with a major metro newspaper.
Blind box service*
For only $25 a month, we'll receive the responses to your ad. Your replies will be forwarded to you at the email or mailing address of your choice.
*If you choose the blind box service you are agreeing to reply to all responses, even if to tell them that you are not interested or that a position has been filled.

*Ads for volunteer positions are provided at no charge. If you are unsure whether your ad qualifies, please submit your ad and it will be verified by MNCPA staff prior to posting. You do not need to contact the MNCPA prior to posting your ad.
Note: MNCPA members do not receive a discounted rate when placing classified or display ads.
Deadlines and publication dates
Website classifieds will be posted within 3-5 business days of receipt will run based on the number of days that you have selected, 30, 60, 90 or 120 days from the posting date.
Footnote and Website ads will be posted starting on the 1st day of the month based on Footnote magazine publication month and will run through the end of publication dates (e.g., February/March Footnote ad will start February 1st and will run through March 31st; October Footnote ad will run starting October 1 and will run through October 31st). If you wish to have your ad run online prior to Footnote publication, you will need to submit your ad as an additional website-only ad. Additional advertising charges will apply.
Volunteer ads can be run indefinitely online on a complimentary basis. They will run in 30 day increments and need to be re-submitted monthly. You are given one complimentary month in the Footnote publication. Please advise when your position has been filled so it can be removed from the website.
Billing
Credit card information must accompany the classified ad(s) at time of submission.
Terms and conditions
- MNCPA reserves the right to refuse ads.
- Advertiser assumes liability for the content of its ad.
- Ads for any continuing education programs will not be accepted.
- For the first 7 days, employment classifieds will only be available to MNCPA members. After that, the ad will become visible to the general public. Advertisers will be issued a login so that they may view their ad.
- Payment is required at time of submission.
- Refunds are not given to ads removed prior to 30 days.
- Ads running on the website and in The Footnote magazine will run starting the 1st of the month of Footnote publication and run through publication dates (e.g., February/March Footnote issue will run February 2 through March 31; April Footnote issue will run April 1-30). Ad will not start running until the first of the month of Footnote publication.
- Phone numbers and abbreviations are considered one word.
