AccountAbility Minnesota volunteers provide free tax preparation, financial education and asset development services to thousands of low-income individuals and families each year. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Adam Faitek at firstname.lastname@example.org or 651-287-0187 ext. 103.
BestPrep places MNCPA members in schools throughout Minnesota to teach students finance and money management skills.
Members of our speaker’s bureau talk to community groups and the media about financial literacy and tax related topics on behalf of the CPA profession. Common topics include tax planning, budgeting, credit, and how to start a small business.
Through a partnership with the MNCPA and KARE 11, each March, MNCPA volunteers answer viewers tax related questions beginning at the 5 p.m. news until the end of the 10 p.m. news.
Military Tax Assistance
Through a partnership with the Minnesota National Guard, MNCPA members prepare tax returns at no charge for Minnesota soldiers currently deployed or who have returned from combat within the last 12 months.
