Michelle Hoffman, CPA, has 16 years of public accounting experience exclusively serving the public sector, including school districts, charter school, cities, counties, states, and state agencies. During this time, she has provided outsourcing, consulting, audit, compliance, agreed-upon procedures, and other services to numerous public sector clients across the country, ranging from small cities to statewide governments. Over the years Hoffman has been involved in hundreds of federal single audits and she has a specific interest in federal grants and grant compliance. She enjoys speaking on the topic and has given many presentations on federal single audits, best practices, and organizational trainings on federal compliance.
Michelle Hoffman, CPA, is a principal in the state and local government group at CLA. She has worked with state and local governments for more than 15 years, providing financial and single audit services as well as consulting services to entities ranging from small charter schools and cities to state-wide governments. Michelle has spoken on single audit and grant compliance topics for more than 10 years in a variety of settings, including state society events and state agency trainings in several different states.
