Christopher P. Martin, JD, a senior manager in the state and local tax (SALT) practice with Grant Thornton LLP, has more than 12 years of experience providing multistate tax services to large public companies and privately held entities. He specializes in assisting clients with a variety of SALT issues involving tax planning and restructuring, due diligence related to mergers and acquisition activity, refund reviews, and controversy and dispute resolution.
Christopher ("Chris") Martin is a Senior Manager in the SALT practice with Grant Thornton's Minneapolis office. He has over twelve years of experience providing multi-state tax services to large public companies and privately held entities.
He has extensive experience assisting clients with a variety of SALT issues involving tax planning and restructuring, due diligence related to mergers and acquisition activity, refund reviews, and controversy/dispute resolution.
Chris is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar as a licensed attorney. He earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. in Economics from St. Olaf College.
When Chris isn't reading about new and exciting SALT topics, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, nerding out on fantasy baseball, and spending time with his family.
