In 1904, accounting visionaries came together under one common goal:
To elevate the accounting profession.
The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants was born.
Fast forward 120 years, and that’s still our mission. We remain committed to supporting Minnesota’s CPAs and accounting professionals.
Accounting looks a lot different today than it did in 1904, but its relevance holds steady. The profession continues to evolve to meet the needs of Minnesota families and businesses. It’s been a pleasure to support our members through this evolution.

THE MNCPA TODAY
The MNCPA is a professional association of CPAs and accountants. We’re member-driven, growing from seven charter members in 1904 to nearly 7,500 today.
Accounting is more than just numbers. So are we. Our work is equal parts education, community-building and advocacy. And it’s always on behalf of our members.
Members tell our story best. We serve as the microphone and spotlight for the profession, amplifying the good work of CPAs across Minnesota.
