Michelle Hoffman, CPA, a principal in the state and local government group at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, has more than 13 years of public accounting experience and works exclusively with government organizations, including school districts charter schools, cities, and counties. She specializes in financial audit and assurance services as well as grant compliance, including single audits, and serves as a firm-wide resource for related regulations and requirements. Michelle graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Business in Accounting and Marketing and a minor in Spanish Studies. She is licensed by the Minnesota State Board of Accountancy and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Minnesota Association of School Business Officials (MASBO), the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) special review committee for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program and is the social committee co-chair for the Minnesota GFOA. She is also a volunteer and finance committee member for the metro area non-profits, Mile in My Shoes and Run Minnesota.
