Dr. Naomi R. Taylor is a social justice, racial equity educator, researcher and writer. She brings a wealth of experience to lead in diversity, equity and inclusion. Dr. Taylor is a qualified administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and an educational consultant for her company Pleasant Spirit LLC. Her career has included teaching in the Saint Paul Public Schools, being a Professor at Hamline University, serving as Educational Equity Coordinator & Director of Secondary Education in Minneapolis Public Schools and, currently, working as the Director of Intercultural Life at Saint Paul Academy and Summit School. Dr. Taylor’s business, Pleasant Spirit Consulting, offers consulting in the areas of child development, educational & life coaching, culturally relevant teaching, culturally responsive pedagogy, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), intercultural competency, leadership, racial equity, social justice, spiritual consciousness, teacher development, teen parenting and more.
