King Banaian
St. Cloud State University
Dr. King Banaian is dean of the School of Public Affairs and professor of economics at St. Cloud State University. His research focuses on monetary policy and political economy. King is the author of two books, more than 50 articles and the St. Cloud Quarterly Business Report, which has forecasted the central Minnesota economy since 1999. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Claremont Graduate School and he is a former state representative for St. Cloud. King also hosts a radio program on economics and finance at The Biz 1440 in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
