Linda Wedul, president and CEO
Linda Wedul serves as president and CEO of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA). She works closely with the MNCPA board of directors, oversees a staff of 30, and manages the day-to-day operations of the 8,000-member organization.
Wedul has been with the MNCPA for more than 25 years. She was first hired in continuing professional education. Since then, she has led membership, marketing, communications, digital strategies and IT. Wedul was named president by the board of directors in July 2016.
Wedul holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota with a double major in accounting and management. She also holds the certified association executive (CAE) credential.
A native of Grand Forks, N.D., Wedul and her husband, Dean, live in Farmington. They have two children: Eric, an engineer in Germany, and Kristen, a student in the Denver area. Wedul's family also fosters service dogs through Can Do Canines.
For fun, Halloween is a big event at Wedul's home and neighborhood. Her home is transformed into a haunted house for fright seekers to walk through and donate to the Farmington food shelf.
