The Mendota Heights CPA starts a three-year term
MINNEAPOLIS (April 19, 2024) — The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) welcomed its new officers and directors at its April 18 board of directors meeting, including Jennifer Tingley, CPA.
The Mendota Heights CPA is a principal at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP and will serve a three-year term on the board. As part of the board, Tingley is looking forward to participating in initiatives to further promote the profession and inspire the next generation of CPAs.
A CPA of more than 20 years, Tingley believes it is important to foster an environment to encourage young accountants in multiple ways as they make their way through their career journeys.
“This includes embracing diversity and encouraging members to share their expertise and opinions,” Tingley said. “We can collectively work together to continue to make the accounting profession a successful and meaningful one.”
The MNCPA serves the public interest by advancing the highest standards of ethics and practices within the CPA profession. The MNCPA delivers on that promise by offering extensive continuing professional education and resources; advocating for members and the public with regulatory agencies and boards; and mentoring and encouraging the CPAs and business leaders of tomorrow. Founded in 1904, the MNCPA has 7,500 members who work in public accounting, business and industry, government and education.
