Help shape the future of the MNCPA by electing candidates to the board of directors. This year, five candidates are up for election or reelection.

Vote for the nominated group of members listed or suggest members in good standing who you wish to nominate by visiting www.mncpa.org/vote. Request a print ballot and direct questions about the ballot or voting process to Judy Cochran at jcochran@mncpa.org or 952-885-5501.

  • CPA members are eligible to vote; associate and
    student members do not have voting rights.

Why I want to continue serving on the MNCPA board of directors:
I found my first term on the board to be very fulfilling and would love to serve for another three years. I enjoyed the opportunity to partner with the exceptional staff at the MNCPA and to think strategically about how to best serve our members and the public.

Why I want to serve on the MNCPA board of directors:
I’ve had my CPA license and have been a member of the MNCPA since 2010. During this time, I have seen the benefits that having a CPA license provides and have been impressed with how the MNCPA helps maximize those benefits for its members. I want to see the CPA designation remain a strong indication of an ethical and competent accountant. I also want to help others find success on the accounting career path.

Why I want to serve on the MNCPA board of directors:
I would like to serve on the MNCPA board of directors to support the MNCPA’s excellent work enhancing the CPA and accounting industry. Throughout my career, my CPA license has given me incredible opportunities and a big part of that was due to the support from the MNCPA. Serving on the MNCPA board is my opportunity to give back and serve an organization and career that has given me so much.

Why I want to serve on the MNCPA board of directors:
I would appreciate the opportunity to be involved with the MNCPA to be able to focus on the advancement of the profession as well as the continual growth of an environment supporting the betterment and expansion of the professionals therein. I am looking for an opportunity to be part of an organization that can and will continue to better the profession from both a professional acumen perspective and availability of learning to create expanded avenues for success for professionals.

Why I want to continue serving on the MNCPA board of directors:
When I joined the MNCPA board three years ago, I joined for many reasons, but maybe the biggest was the coming pipeline issue. Since then, this issue has accelerated. I would like to continue to serve on the board to continue to find ways to introduce accounting as a great career to younger generations on the board of directors.
