Annette Wanchena, CTP, is the lead treasury management specialist and oversees the treasury management team across Alerus’ geographic footprint. She is responsible for account fulfillment, ongoing servicing, compliance, strategy, and support of treasury products and services. Annette previously served in roles at financial organizations in the Twin Cities area including firm administrator, vice president of e-banking, commercial deposits, cash management, and business banking officer, enabling her to build an extensive knowledge base with an emphasis on treasury management services. Annette is a Certified Treasury Professional and stays up to date on issues around liquidity, capital, and risk management. She has a heart for nonprofits, volunteering her time as a mentor and instructor, and serving on several boards and committees over the years. She is also a member of the Nonprofit Financial Group – Twin Cities Chapter. Annette loves that she can help nonprofits in their fiscal responsibility, which allows them to focus on their mission.
