On-Site CPE Training: Program Development and CPE Record Keeping

The MNCPA offers services to plan and deliver customized CPE training programs for your staff. We would love to help you plan your next team training session, but if you choose to do all the legwork yourself, here are some resources to help you get started.

Rules on CPE program standards and record keeping

Minnesota Board of Accountancy (BOA) rules state that a program qualifies as acceptable CPE if it is a program of learning that contributes to the growth in the professional knowledge and professional competence of a licensee.

The program must meet the minimum standards of quality for development, presentation, measurement and credit reporting in the Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs jointly issued by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
